6-DAY OFFSHORE REPORT!!! EXCEL from a 6-day trip with 28 passengers went offshore, Guadalupe and Cedros Island. Nice Weather. They collected 207 Yellowtail, 60 Albacore, 21 Yellowfin Tuna(up to 53 lbs), 1 Halibut & 250 assorted Rockfish. Greg Sharpe of Newbury Park claimed the jackpot for a 53.9 Yellowfin Tuna. Ed Ischermosaha of Lomita got 2nd pot with 51.2 Yellowfin Tuna and Bernie Milligan of Ventura took the third jackpot with a 48.8 Yellowfin Tuna. It's time for the 5-day to 6-day trips right now. 5-DAY OFFSHORE REPORT!!! EXCEL from a 5-day trip with 32 anglers caught 447 Albacore & 20 Rockfish. Both Phil Hidey(Arcadia) and Wayne Wilcox(Downey) took the jackpot with 40.8 lbs Albacore each. 5-DAY CEDROS ISLAND REPORT!!! EXCEL went on 5-day trip to Cedros Island with 34 passengers. They landed 215 Yellowtail,39 Albacore,4 Yellowfin Tuna,2 Halibut and 140 Red Rockcod. Ed Fincel of Yreka, Ca got the jackpot with a 35 lb Yellowtail. Steve Williamson of Fontana, Ca took the 2nd place with 34.6 lb Yellowtail.
