Enthusiastic biters today that flooded the area hungry and willing. And with the significant body of fish came their omnipresent tormentors ever ready to convert our battles into an easy meal. Freeloaders. Up to the challenge we strapped in, hammered the drags, and won far more contests than were lost. By days end suffice it to say the catching portion of the voyage on the quantity scale was satisfied. We are however still seeking that handful of trophies that have proven elusive thus far. Certain that they are around the search continues tomorrow. Today's images feature long time Royal Star friend and angler Phil Hashimoto with a tuna and wahoo pulled from the fray.

A morning swing and miss set up an afternoon shift back to a more effective zone. A solid morning hit on 130-150's with a few more on either end set up an afternoon in search mode seeking a little scenic and species variation before searching a new zone outside. Limited success followed on a size class of tuna less than desired. Opting for a different approach tomorrow we'll see if the gamble pays off.
