Red Rum Sportfishing Staff

A busy week for Redrum left many happy customers with great memories. On the 9th Reel Rum tagged and released a marlin with the Bly party, while Cesar and the Jackson crew tagged and release 2. The 10th of April was quite the day for newly weds Corey Arrota and wife. On their honeymoon they went out for day fishing with Reel Rum. Omar and Ramon double-hooked Marlin and the newlyweds were able to fight their Marlin side by side getting them both to the boat and released. What a way to start their marriage. Great job guys and We wish you the best of luck. The same day, Tantrum went out with the Bly party and were able to catch 3 Marlin. Alex and El Nuevo brought 2 Marlin in for release and 1 Mako shark for dinner! *Mako is great eating when its fresh, ask our captains how much they enjoy it! Rum Runnin also went out, hooked up with 2 Marlin and were able to release both. Our friend Nick from Chicago came along with his friends and also brought in a Marlin and hooked a Mako as well. We had the remainder of Curt Stene's group begin their fishing days with us as they went out on Tantrum and Reel Rum on the 11th 2 pangas on the 12th again on Tantrum and Reel Rum on the 13th and ending their trip on 2 pangas on the 14th. Each day brought experienced great fishing, and Redrum was very grateful to have had them fish with us. Thanks for the good time gentlemen. See you soon. Geoff Shelton, a friend from Texas brought in his group of friends catching and releasing a Marlin during their stay in Cabo. On the 15th we gave the boys a day for tune-ups and maintenance. Got to get them ready for next week!

For those that fished with the Redrum fleet they know that we were able to catch plenty of Marlin and a handful of Dorado. It is good to see the warm waters have finally brought some Dorado within comfortable reach. They are getting closer and ready to be caught. El Nuevo...... Read More
