Fashionably late wasn't the winning strategy last night as the big hits came right at dark. Arriving on scene about an hour after we settled in to the task picking up scraps from a multitude of opportunities. For whatever reason the big bite switch turned off after the first go around. The good news is that there are plenty of fish to be had. Daytime action as we plowed west following our morning departure on the annual Ed Hansen structures voyage was excellent for the guys on the grounds. Certainly hoping that this is a trend we'll be holding fast seeking offshore bluefin glory.
