Plunkin

Slow but steady plunkin' throughout the day mighty pleased for the opportunity considering the conditions. A stiff breeze and grumpy seas tempered all enthusiasm for search missions. As such we made the most of it enjoying a nice ride on the anchor bow into the wind and seas. By days end we had our fill ready for a change of pace and scenery. Headed east southeast seeking beach variety in far better conditions the ride in with seas astern was smooth as silk. Tomorrow promises opportunity anew. Photo today features our friend and veteran Royal Star master angler Jin Liang who we have affectionately dubbed "the silent assassin". No matter the place, time, species, or method Jin is well prepared, highly proficient, and maximizes the opportunity. Here is Jin today with one of his several fine school size, 30 pound bluefin.
