The New Seaforth finished up their AM Half Day trip with 5 Bonito, 25 Calico bass with 75 released and 1 White Seabass for 34 anglers. The PM wrapped up the day with 8 Yellowtail, 7 Bonito, 1 Barracuda and 63 Calico bass with 100 released for 25 anglers. We are a definite run for both trips tomorrow!
The Sea Watch ended their Full Day Coronado Islands trip with 35 Yellowtail weighing between 15-30 pounds, 25 Calico bass and 11 Sand bass for their 10 passengers. Captain Ryan reported the best method was a 30# flyline setup with a 1/0 J-hook and it is advised to have a minimum of 30# line. The Sea Watch is a definite run tomorrow and there is still plenty of space!
The San Diego ended their Coronado Islands Full Day with 57 Yellowtail, 37 Barracuda, 13 Calico bass and 2 Bluefin tuna for 33 anglers.
The Polaris Supreme checked in with us earlier today from their 3 Day with limits of Bluefin Tuna and 32 Yellowtail. It was a nice mixed grade of tuna with 28 weighing between 50-120 pounds and the rest in the 20-40 pound range.
The Tribute finished up their Overnight charter with 64 Yellowtail, 27 Calico bass, 1 Bluefin and some assorted bottom fish for their 28 anglers! There are still openings for their 1.5 Day departing tomorrow night!
