The Royal Polaris comes home from a 17 Day Trip with 23 passangers landing 152 Yellowfin Tuna, 187 Wahoo, and 50 Yellowtail. Don Burnside from San Diego took 1st Place with a 248.2 pound Yellowfin Tuna, 2nd Place was Jim Brady's 204.2 pound Yellowfin, and the next biggest Yellowfin belonged to Rocky Opliger at 160 pounds. Hello everyone, well another down, and time to come home. Our weather is still good, with a light breeze out of the northwest, 4 to 6 foot seas, and sunny skies. We finished our trip off with excellent Yellowtail fishing at Alijos rocks. We did catch a handful of Yellowfin. Most of the Yellowtail were in the 18 to 25 pound range, with a few going to the 40 pound mark. The Yellowfin were in the 25 to 50 pound...... Read More
