Donner Lake has recently been stocked with rainbow trout. This has led to a plentiful bite for both shore and boat anglers. Anglers fishing in the 80-foot water column are reporting good mackinaw catches, while kokanee are biting around the 50-foot water column. There is a 5 fish limit at Donner Lake, which is currently at 96% capacity.
