Water Conditions
The water levels on the Feather River are near perfect right now. Water temperatures are still near the cool side in the mid to high 50s. With no upcoming inclement weather, the bite should stay relatively the same for the upcoming weeks.
Tips for the Week
Anglers fishing the Feather River should cover as much ground as possible to increase your odds of catching. Walk further away from access points to hit the good spots. Anglers drifting crawlers or salmon eggs through rapids, or, pulling lures like panther martins and rooster tails are having the most success.
Suggested Flies or Bait
Some suggested dry flies to try on the Feather River this week are Atomic Ants, Hoppers, Mosquitos, or Parachute Adams. Some nymphs to try are Flashback PT, Micromayflys, and Copper Johns.
