Thursday Recap
Update 8:15 PM: The New Seaforth has 1 Yellowtail and 46 Calico Bass for their 16 anglers on the Twilight!
The New Seaforth caught 2 White Seabass this morning on their AM Half Day! They also had 43 Calico Bass to go with for their 11 anglers. The PM trip ended with 92 Bass and 150 released and last night's Twilight finished up the evening with 25 Calico Bass with 75 released and 17 assorted rockfish. We have plenty of openings tomorrow and don't overlook that AM trip with the White Seabass lurking around!
The San Diego ended their Full Day today with 6 Bluefin and 2 Yellowtail for 33 anglers. The Bluefin weighed in between 30 to 60 pounds. Captain Matt reported that they did see more of those bigger fish but they weren't willing to bite. We are still recommending having a 40# flyline rod and a heavy 100# setup!
