Well those incredible, percentage defying results that we mastered yesterday swung back to a more realistic average today. One stop is what it really boiled down to aside from a couple other brief opportunities. But that one was reminiscent of any high stakes giant tuna fishing that we have seen. At one point almost everyone fishing had one on the line. And while the intensity is exhilarating in those situations the reality of pile ups and lines coming together is inevitable. Of course the boys handle the madness with professional skill and poise but no matter how we slice it some of those big bastards take advantage of their elevated chances in those situations and win. That said we still made our mark. 

Four more from two hundred twenty to two hundred thirty five pounds joined their brethren in the RSW tanks when all was said and done. Absolutely ideal for our current station those four complimented an already magnificent catch of beautiful, premium grade bluefin resting immersed in pure seawater refrigerated to thirty degrees Fahrenheit. A finer product to take home and generously share with friends and family can not be found. 

Taking our blessings into account we headed for the barn early mindful of the reality of proportion. There are times when numbers do not relate the tale. Such is the case on this run. A mere thirty seven fish now rest in the RSW tanks. One tank, hosting only thirty three fish, is brimming full. At capacity that tank holds around sixty five hundred pounds. The math on that average speaks for itself. It’s a lot of product. More that enough to propel this run into an elite category of success. Incredible. 

Enough success under our belts on this run to indelibly mark our memories the short ride home was filled with revelers jubilant and merry. A blissful night in the tranquil bay was the final compliment to a huge success. Our most sincere gratitude is extended to the entire group and especially Charter Master extraordinaire Chris Yamada for assembling this stellar cast of exemplary anglers.
