Fishing this past Tuesday at Whiskeytown for Kokanee was excellent. We had steady action and ended up hooking well over 20 nice fat drag ripping Kokanee. We ended up putting 14 keepers in the box. The biggest was 17 inches and almost 2 pounds, it tipped scale at 1.8 pounds. 

Kokanee fishing will only get better as we head into summer. If you love salmon then these fish are fabulous table fair. They can be caught right now any where from surface down to 90 feet, trolling between 1 and 2 mph.
