Fish Report for 5-3-2024

The Crooked river flows have been all over the place

Fly and Field Outfitters

The Crooked river flows have been all over the place the last several weeks. They have been trending down but were raised again today from 350ish to 420ish. The reservoir is full so if there's runoff coming into the reservoir up top the flows will continue to match that. A good source to check before heading out is levels.wkcc.org. Select Oregon and check the flows below Bowman dam. We heard reports of people catching fish when the river was around 700 so fishing is not impossible but it's not the best. If it stays at a consistent level for 3-4 days fishing will improve but the constantly changing water levels put the fish down.
