Riveria Marina Fishing Report

Exciting news! Our stripers are running, and anchovies or bait are proving effective. Local angler Brian Grey recently landed a couple of these using anchovies while fishing from shore in the community park area. Near the Davis Dam, anglers have reported catching fish of similar size from the shoreline. Additionally, the largemouth bass are beginning to move off their nests and are guarding the fry (baby fish). Panfish are nesting as well—I managed to capture a great picture of a nice-sized redear, possibly a bluegill, as it watched over its bed. They'll be on the move soon. Just a reminder, we still have some larger stripers out there, but these little bait stealers will often strike first. So, make sure you have a good knot and your drag set. Hope this update helps, and we're eagerly awaiting to hear your catch stories. Thank you for all the support! Now, go catch a fish!
