Getting into this boat ramp is still a challenge
4-10-2024
Mike Lawson
Getting into this boat ramp is still a challenge, but the access at Jump Off, and the County Boat Ramp are open. In this stretch Its mainly a Dry Drop and or Nymphing game. I would fish the slower drop offs and really work the run. Chubby’s size 8 in red or purple. Zebra Midges red and green size 16. Flashback PT’s size 16. Electric Caddis size 16, and Pats Rubber Legs size 8 and 10. I wouldn’t hesitate to throw a streamer like a Copper Zonker or a Barley Legal, remember slow strips through the deeper pools and steep banks.
