The Fly Shop
Nothing new to report except great fishing on Baum! With warming weather, you won't want to miss out on a day on this lake. Fish are eating midge larvae and Blue Wing Olive nymphs for the most part. For dries, the BWO Comparadun and Norman's Loopwing work well, for your underwater offerings Sweet Peas, the light BP Weiss Nymphs, and #18 olive S&M nymphs are all good. Don't forget your midge and Wooly Bugger boxes. Balanced Leeches in black and olive under an indicator when the wind picks up can save the day here. Our guides have this place wired if you are looking for some tactical advice on fishing a great spring creek fishery with an expert!
