Shasta Lake Report

3-15-2024
Jeff Goodwin

Shasta Lake is fishing in true spring fashion and we're catching some nice trout and King salmon!  Water conditions are great with minimal debris and great water color.  Water temps are hovering around 48-49 degrees.  Mornings have been a little slow so getting out later in the morning isn't a problem.  Most of our action has been coming at 11:00 or later.  Try trolling from the surface down to 20' for the most action.  Small spoons, bait, and Brad's kokanee cut plugs have been top producers for me the past few weeks.  This is going to be a good year on Shasta Lake and we have already booked an above average schedule for this time of then year.  If your're planning on booking a fishing trip with us on Shasta Lake this summer, now is a good time to start looking at available dates.  Call or text Jaynie at the reservation desk for more information and available dates!  (530) 510-2925.  Thank you!
