It was a fishing catching week an weekend on Lake Siskiyou. The Brown and Rainbow Trout fishing has been hot, so hot that my clients lost track of how fish they brought to the boat. 

Limits of Trout have been extremely easy to catch this past week. Trolling various dodgers an flies, lures,  and plugs dipped in scent at speeds between 1 an 3 mph all worked well. The Trout have been biting on the surface down to 40 feet. The rainbows have all been near the surface while the browns have mostly been caught at the deeper depths. Size range has been between one and six pounds with the browns being on the bigger end and rainbows smaller. These fish are fabulous table fair, we have been releasing most of browns and keeping the better looking rainbows. Our best day so far has been near 40 fish.
