Not exactly according to plan here as our glorious, flat calm weather yielded to the very bottom end of that low pressure that rolled through Southern California. Wind, a little rain, plenty of swell, and mixed up seas combined for a sloppy day plying the grounds. We did have a couple of morning chances, enough to maintain optimism, but actual results were paltry. A few mid grade yellowfin and a couple of wahoo were all we could muster. Tomorrow comes another day.

Photos today feature a couple of bright moments from the afternoon prior when master Royal Star veteran angler Chris Yamada did what he does. Bagging a couple of good ones in a row we chose the bigger of the two to honor. At 265 this dandy made the afternoon. Here is Chris in action and sharing his triumph with the guys.

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 224-4764 to get in on the action.
