A couple morning hours passed in pursuit of wahoo and tuna in rapidly calming conditions. On the first front the skinnies were nowhere to be found. On the second front signs were strong. Incredible truth be told. Consistent with the entire 2023 fall season those 30-40 pound yellowfin are still abundant and ravenous. Had it been a eight or ten day - whoa.
Not in the market for that grade of tuna just yet we grabbed a few for the larder and continued on. Another day sliding down is in our near future before the games begin. Today's image captures Captain Alex Natipadab in the process of setting one of those forty pound beauties free.

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 224-4764 to get in on the action.
