Fish Report for 1-25-2024
Moving around and keeping your eyes peeled for hatches is the best tactic this time of year on Hat

The Fly Shop
I don't know what you are looking to do this weekend, but I'll be heading up to fish a creek whose name begins with 'H' and ends with 'T'. You can expect a prolific Baetis/Blue Wing Olive hatch any winter day when there is plentiful sunshine, and with less than 5 mph winds forecast all weekend, and partly cloudy skies, this would be a good spot to go. Bring your Hackle Stackers, Griffith's Gnats, and a stealthy approach. Nymph-wise, the BP Weiss nymph, X-Mays in #18, or Sweet Peas are great to have along with some Peaches n' Green. Moving around and keeping your eyes peeled for hatches is the best tactic this time of year on Hat. And please remember to respect other anglers and spawning Rainbows.
Hot Flies:
• Lance's Jigged X-May
• Rubberlegs
• Sweet Pea Jigged Baetis
• Pheasant Tails
• Mercer's Missing Link
• S&M Nymph
• Walt's Worm
• Peaches n' Green
• BP Weiss Nymph
