The East Walker on the California side of the state line is closed until April 27. 2024. The Nevada side of the river is open through the Winter. 

The Rosachi section in Nevada has been fishing pretty well with some reports coming in from anglers catching 10+ fish per day. The good fishing hours this time of the year are pretty short, you really don’t need to be down there before probably 9:00 in the morning and it’s probably all but done by 3:00 or 3:30 in the afternoon. Small nymph and midge patterns have been the go to flies as well as some smaller stonefly nymphs. Bridgeport Reservoir is around 85% full right now and they have been releasing some extra water into the river this past week, right now the flows on the EW are about 93cfs, a great flow for fishing!
