Look at those! All of those were from one day of fishing with my wife on the Clearwater River in Idaho. Who says you can't have good Steelhead fishing in December? On Wednesday, I took my wife Steelhead fishing. I bet we didn't even get the boat in the water till after 9:30 and probably didn't actually start making drifts until closer to 10:00 a.m. We didn't fish past 3:30 p.m. and we put 10 in the net! This mild winter weather we are having is doing good things for the Steelhead bite. A Steelhead fishing adventure is an excellent Christmas gift idea! With that said we haven't even gotten to the really good, popular, spring Steelhead fishing season of mid-January through mid-March. I have available dates before and after Christmas as well as dates available in January through mid-March. There are folks currently booking trips but there's still some days left to be had.
