The Fly Shop
The recent report we had is that the upper Klamath is still fishing well with quite a few adult steelhead in the river. The weather through Monday looks super! A hint of rain on Monday, but good temps for this late in the season with highs in the 50s. This may be your last chance for a while as they will be begin drawing down the reservoirs this January in preparation to dismantling them. Fishing some of the smaller patterns like the Duracell, Olive Hotspot, and ZT Jig Nation below a black Rubberlegs will be a good setup. If you would like to set up a day with a guide give Bryan or Chris a call in Outfitters (530)222-3555.
Hot Flies:
Eggs:
• Clown Egg
• Micro Spawn - Shrimp Pink or Salmon Egg
• Boles Bazookas
Nymphs:
• Pat's Rubberlegs - #4-8
• Coppertop Duracell - #16
• Red Copper Johns - #14-18
• Gordon's Amber Win
