To call the last couple days of Bluefin fishing a "grind" would be a true understatement. One thing we all know about the darn Bluefin is that the only thing that's consistent about Bluefin fishing is inconsistency! After a hot and heavy few days of fishing in the local BFT zone, it's bound to take a nose dive for a day or two. We were really hoping to get in on some of the action before it does. No such luck. The fleet struggled to get on volume of fish, and whatever fish we were able to get on would be locked jaw. Such is Bluefin fishing! Long hard couple days spending in search mode with just a handful to show for in the end. Last couple days has been a true testimony of perseverance by all. 
 

Hindsight is always 20/20 one hundred percent of the time. Of course one would want to do this and that differently. Same goes for our layout of this trip. Though there's room for improvements, all in all this 11 day Island Fishing Tackle was a success. From array of variety in species to, to exploring different destinations, gorgeous weather most of the trip, and even catching a couple fish to take home and share with friends. Sounds like a great trip to me!
