Donner has been fishing decent from shore for rainbows

Donner has been fishing decent from shore for rainbows using mostly powerbait and salmon eggs. The lake was stocked two weeks ago and is still experiencing a decent bite most likely due to the lack of crowds. Mackinaw anglers trolling with large spoons and plugs have also reported the mack bite has started to pick up at Donner Lake. Donner Lake is at 90% capacity.
