The Fall River continues to fish well

10-27-2023
Fly and Field Outfitters

The Fall River continues to fish well. It is one of your better options this time of year as far as finding some dry fly action. A nice variety of BWO’s, small caddis, and midges should all be kept in your fall river box. Nymphing is hot during all times of the day and leeches, zebra midges, eggs, pheasant tails and worms have all been taking fish. Dry-dropper setups are always fun and you never know when an opportunistic fish will crush a big dry. Streamers are also fun swung, stripped, and dead drifted with focus on cover like trees and undercut banks being important.
