We arrived home from our Jim’s custom Rods trip with an excellent catch of Yellowfin, Yellowtail with some Wahoo and Bluefin in the mix as well. Our Yellowfin fishing was absolutely incredible with the average grade ranging between 25-44#s. We scratched some Wahoo before we made our way North to try for Yellows along the beach and we had great fishing on 18-24# Yellowtail. We continued moving North and had a fun day along the coast in tight catching beautiful Calico bass up to 7.5 pounds. We finished up our trip with trophy Bluefin and although it wasn’t wide open we did manage to catch quite a few trophy’s which included Jerry Kuo’s 300.5# Bluefin! As always Jim did it right offering awesome hospitality on his trip and everyone went home with a Custom Wrapped Rod as well as a ton of other swag. We will check in later
