Trout season is just around the corner but these warm fall temps are creating great conditions for bass fishing here at Lake Hemet. Michael Nathanson caught this chunker earlier in the week. He is proof positive that Lake Hemet is not only a great trout fishing lake but a destination for bass enthusiasts as well.
Day use is open daily and overnight camping is open as well. Make a trip up here and nab one of these beautiful fish.

FISHING/TROUT DERBY UPDATE 4/26 Please be advised that ALL fishing at Lake Hemet is closed this week leading up to our trout derby this weekend. Guests are welcome to visit and enjoy the federal day use area outside of our campground with a valid Adventure Pass but fishing is prohibited in that area as well through end of day Friday.
