We woke up to a whole different ocean this morning, in a good way. Light and variable wind with a few rollers here and there. Ahh, finally.  Shortly after breakfast we got to work. After a day of rest, everyone was eager to get their lines wet. Main focus today is action. And action we found. The fishing was hot and heavy, guys that fished the surface tactic had a Tuna on, and guys that fished the bottom we're catching Yellowtail. Not a whole lot of places where you can do that while anchored up. This morning's action is what long range fishing down the Baja coast is all about. With the 29 degree fish hold topped off, we will now continue the trek north. Weather forecasts to be epic for our last leg of the trip. We'll see what the last chapter will bring.

Today's photo honors goes to my friend, the surface iron fanatic, Captain Jake Klinshaw. The cover photo is an example of his love for the surface iron. Yellowfin Tuna on the jig never gets old! Pleasure to share the rail with a season veteran Captain!

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 224-4764 to get in on the action.
