Big Hungry
The Daily Double returned from their 1/2-Day Charter with 44 Sculpin and 1 Sheephead for 29 anglers.
The El Capitan returned from a 2.5 day trip with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna (48), 7 Yellowfin Tuna, 1 Yellowtail and 1 Dorado for 12 anglers.

Recommended tackle for any of these trips would include a 30# live bait rod, 50# bait/jig rod and a heavy outfit with 80# or 100# for sinker rigs / knife jigs.

Local Trips:
The Daily Double offers ½ day trips departing every day at 8:30 AM. They have been fishing in the local kelp beds for Bass, Barracuda and Rockfish. Call our office at (619) 223-1627 to book your reservation. (Schedule)
The Mission Belle has full day trips scheduled to fish offshore for Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Yellowtail and Dorado. Trips depart at 6:00 AM. NO PASSPORT required for this trip. (Schedule)

FISH PROCESSING RESERVATIONS
If you're planning on taking a trip with us this season, we encourage you to set up an appointment with one of the 3 fish processors working with Point Loma Sportfishing. If you do not have an advance reservation, there is a strong chance the processors will be unable to process your fish when you return to the dock. The Oceanside 95 called in with an update for their 1.5 Day trip. So far they've caught 41 Bluefin Tuna and 40 Yellowfin Tuna with 29 anglers. The Daily Double caught 34 Whitefish, 10 Sculpin, 2 Sand Bass and 1 Sheephead on their AM 1/2 Day trip with 29 anglers. The T-Bird called in with an update for their 1.5 Day trip.
