Kirkwood Lake Fishing Report

I talked with a friend from the Forest Service and he reported good fishing on the lake this week. The lake is located 1/4 mile west past Kirkwood Ski Resort.

Silver Lake: The lake level is at 67 percent and will continue to go down
Caples Lake: Capacity and is scheduled to remain high into the fall season
Woods Lake: The CDFW planted the lake last week with catchable rainbow trout
Red Lake: Red Lake Report
Blue Lake Lower: The road is open to lower and the upper lake
Highland Lakes: The lake has small brook trout
Burnside Lake: The CDFW planted the lake recently with catchable rainbow trout
East Carson River (CA): East Carson River Report

Topaz Lake: Trollers have had best action with small flashers and a half of a nightcrawler

Silver Lake: The lake level has dropped a little
Caples Lake: The EID day use and boat launch will remain open as long as weather permit
Blue Lake Lower: The fishing has been fair to good for catchable rainbows
West Carson River (CA): The river is a low spot now, as of this week it was running at 70 CFS
East Carson River (CA): The river was running at 270 CFS this week
Indian Creek Reservoir: No fishing is advised right now
Topaz Lake: The lake level has been fluctuating
