Fish Report for 8-30-2023
Flows are declining quickly at 12 cfs

OR Department of Fish & Wildlife Staff
Flows are declining quickly at 12 cfs. Fishing has been very slow below the marsh.
Fishing below the Sycan Marsh is not recommended at this time as most of the river was dry this past summer.
Fishing should be good for brook trout above Rock Creek Campground. Grasshoppers are abundant in the meadow sections of the river. Below Rock Creek campground fishing is likely slow due to a combination of drought and Bootleg Fire affects.
