The smooth ride down proved well worth it. The reward was a fine day of stationary fishing honing our flyline skills while catching beautiful, school grade yellowfin tuna. A long morning of easy fishing “plunking” our way along was a perfect warm up for the afternoon to come. Game on is how I’d describe it; epic action on 25-35 pound yellowfin tuna until we were sated, for now. Moving north in search of quality and variety we saved a little room for a few more tuna if they show in our path.
