Friday Afternoon Update:

The T-Bird caught 14 Bluefin Tuna (up to 120 lb) and 21 Dorado on their Two Day Charter with 16 anglers.

The El Capitan called in with 77 Dorado, 3 Bluefin Tuna, 5 Yellowfin Tuna, and 3 Yellowtail for their overnight trip.

The Mission Belle Caught 56 Dorado and 1 Yellowtail on their Full Day Charter with 28 anglers.

The Point Loma caught 38 Dorado and 1 Bluefin Tuna  on their Full Day trip with 19 anglers. 

The Success returned from a 1.75 day trip with 6 Bluefin Tuna and 23 Dorado for 10 anglers.



Thursday Update:

The Mission Belle called in with LIMITS of Dorado for their Full Day Offshore trip. 

The Point Loma called in with LIMITS of Dorado for their Full Day Offshore trip. 

The New Lo-An returned from a 2 day trip with 63 Bluefin Tuna and 5 Dorado for 21 anglers.


Wednesday Fish Counts:

The Point Loma caught 28 Dorado on their Full Day trip.

The Mission Belle caught 30 Dorado and 4 Yellowfin Tuna on their Full Day trip.

The Daily Double came back from their AM 1/2 day with 10 Calico Bass, 7 Sand Bass and 1 Sheephead

The New Lo-An called in from day one of their two day trip with 40+ Bluefin for their 21 Anglers

Recommended tackle for any of these trips would include a 30# live bait rod, 50# bait/jig rod and a heavy outfit with 80# or 100# for sinker rigs / knife jigs.

Local trips:

The Daily Double offers ½ day trip departing every day at 8:30 AM and 3:00 PM. They have been fishing in the local kelp beds for bass, Barracuda and Rockfish. Call our office at (619) 223-1627 to book your reservation. (Schedule)
 
The Mission Belle has full day trips scheduled to fish offshore for Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Yellowtail and Dorado. Trips depart at 6:00 AM. NO PASSPORT required for this trip. (Schedule)

If you're planning on taking a trip with us this season, we encourage you to set up an appointment with one of the 3 fish processors working with Point Loma Sportfishing. If you do not have an advance reservation, there is a strong chance the processors will be unable to process your fish when you return to the dock.
