Big Hungry

Saturday Update:
The Point Loma called in with 32 Dorado, 1 Yellowtail and 1 Yellowfin tuna.

The Mission Belle called in with 60 Dorado and 3 Bluefin Tuna for their Full Day CA Offshore trip. 

The Daily Double came back from their AM 1/2 day trip with 25 Rockfish, 2 Calico Bass, 13 Sand Bass and 1 Sheephead. 

The Success returned from a 2.5 Day trip with 40 Bluefin Tuna, 14 Yellowtail, 5 Rockfish, 2 Yellowfin Tuna and 1 Dorado. 


The Daily Double has plenty of room left on today's PM trip. (BOOK HERE) This trip is a WILL RUN FOR SURE!


The New Lo-An called in from the water with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna for their 3 day trip for 20 anglers. Half of these fish are 20-40 lbs and half are 60-160 lbs.

The T-Bird 1.5 day trip departing Sunday 8-27-23 is a DEFINITE GO! Trip price is $460 and includes your Mexican permit. (BOOK HERE)

The El Capitan has a 1.5 day trip departing 8-29-23. Trip price is $565 and includes meals and your Mexican permit. This trip is limited to 18 passengers max.  This trip is a DEFINITE GO! (BOOK NOW)

The El Capitan 2.5 day trip departing 9-1-23 has 3 open spots. Trip price is $905 and includes meals. This trip is limited to 18 passengers max. This trip is a DEFINITE GO! (BOOK NOW)

Recommended tackle for any of these trips would include a 30# live bait rod, 50# bait/jig rod and a heavy outfit with 80# or 100# for sinker rigs / knife jigs.

Local trips:

The Daily Double offers ½ day trip departing every day at 8:30 AM and 3:00 PM. They have been fishing in the local kelp beds for bass, Barracuda and Rockfish. Call our office at (619) 223-1627 to book your reservation. (Schedule)
 
The Mission Belle has full day trips scheduled to fish offshore for Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Yellowtail and Dorado. Trips depart at 6:00 AM. NO PASSPORT required for this trip. (Schedule)

FISH PROCESSING RESERVATIONS 
If you're planning on taking a trip with us this season, we encourage you to set up an appointment with one of the 3 fish processors working with Point Loma Sportfishing. If you do not have an advance reservation, there is a strong chance the processors will be unable to process your fish when you return to the dock. Friday Afternoon Report: The Point Loma reported 6 Yellowtail and 5 Dorado for their Full Day trip.
