Jim Elias

Mammoth Lakes Basin 8/12/23 - Full to the top and then some.

Rod Size:  9ft #4 or #5 weights

Tippet Size:  3-5X

Leader: 9ft 4X

Best Techniques: Stripping streamers in the tube or under the indicator

Dries: Didn't see much up top, but maybe ant patterns

Nymphs: Mayfly and Caddis nymphs.

Streamers: Didn't matter, but maribou leeches were getting grabs.

Haven't been up here in a bit, but if you feel like battling the crowds, go for it. I'll be elsewhere for the time being.
