Tackle Recommendations from the Boats for Bluefin trips.
For day time fishing, they are recommending
50lb flyline with a #1 mutu or a 1/0 mutu circle hook
30lb flyline with #2 Owner Mutu Hook. For the guys that want to fish a jig, try a 100 or 130 Colt Sniper or Zakana jigs. We would recommend fishing the jigs on a 50 to 60lb outfit.
For night time fishing, we are still recommending 80 to 100lb outfits and 300 to 400 grams jigs with 130 to 200lb leaders.

The Dolphin PM trip had 25 rockfish, 26 calico bass (75 rel), 24 sheephead, and 2 sculpin for 14 anglers.
The Condor called in with 40 Bluefin Tuna and 3 Yellowfin Tuna on their 2 day trip for 23 anglers.
The Liberty called in with 29 Bluefin Tuna and 1 Yellowfin Tuna for 40 anglers on their Full Day trip.
The Pacific Queen called in with 85 Bluefin Tuna, 6 Yellowfin Tuna and 63 Yellowtail (15-30lbs.) on their 2.5 day private Charter.
The Tomahawk is returning this morning with 18 Bluefin Tuna (50-100lbs) from their 2 day trip with 28 anglers.
The Islander returned this morning with LIMITS (58) Bluefin Tuna on their 1.5 Day trip for 29 anglers.
The Fortune returned this morning with LIMITS (38) bluefin for 19 anglers on a 1.5 day trip.

The Islander called in with LIMITS (58) Bluefin Tuna on their 1.5 Day trip for 29 anglers.
The Dolphin AM trip caught 171 Rockfish for 27 anglers.
The Dolphin PM trip caught 22 Calico Bass and 50 Calico Bass released, 38 Rockfish, 2 Sculpin and 1 Sandbass for 13 anglers.
The Liberty called in with 69 bluefin and 8 yellowfin for 39 anglers on a full day trip.
The Fortune called in with limits (38) bluefin for 19 anglers on a 1.5 day trip.
The Pacific Dawn is returning with 10 Bluefin Tuna (9 over 100 lbs) on their 1.5 day trip for their 18 Passengers
The Pacific Queen called in with LIMITS (44) of Bluefin Tuna and 1 Yellowfin tuna on day 1 of their 2.5 day private charter with 22 anglers.
The Condor returned this morning with 18 Bluefin tuna for their 2.5 day trip for their 28 anglers.
The Pegasus returned this morning with 88 Bluefin tuna for their 3 day trip for their 17 anglers.
