The T-Bird called in to report 24 Bluefin Tuna and 100 Rockfish in the middle of their 1.5 Day trip

The Daily Double caught 231 Rockfish on their AM 1/2 Day trip with 34 anglers.

The Daily Double PM 1/2 Day called in with 36 Calico Bass, 6 Sheephead and 14 Rockfish. 

The Mission Belle called in with 35 Bluefin Tuna for their Full Day charter with 29 anglers. 

The Point Loma called in with 9 Bluefin Tuna for their Full Day Offshore trip. 

The Oceanside 95 called in with 25 Bluefin Tuna for their 1 Day Overnight trip.

The Oceanside 95 still has room for their 1 Day Overnight trip departing Saturday the 22nd. Ticket price is $300 and includes a Mexican fishing permit (CA license additional if needed). 

The T-Bird has a 1.5 day trip scheduled to depart Sunday the 23rd for $400 a ticket  and includes a Mexican fishing permit (CA license additional if needed).


The El Capitan has a 1.5 day trip scheduled to depart Sunday the 23rd for $565 a ticket  and includes a Mexican fishing permit AND meals (CA license additional if needed). This is a WILL RUN TRIP!

Recommended tackle for any of these trips would include a 30# live bait rod, 50# bait/jig rod and a heavy outfit with 80# or 100# for sinker rigs / knife jigs.

Local trips:

The Daily Double offers ½ day trip departing everyday at 8:30 AM and 3:00 PM. They have been fishing the local kelp beds for bass, Barracuda and Rockfish. Call our office at (619) 223-1627 to book your reservation.
 
The Mission Belle has full day trips scheduled to fish offshore for Bluefin Tuna, Yellowtail and Bonito. Recommended tackle would be a bait rod with 25# or 30#, a jig rod with 40# or 50# and a heavy outfit with 80# or 100#. Shimano Flat Falls, Colt Snipers, Daiwa SK jigs, Salas 6Xjr’s or Tady 9’s are all excellent jigs for this trip. Trips depart at 6:00 AM. NO PASSPORT required for this trip. (Schedule)

If you're planning on taking a trip with us this season, we encourage you to set up an appointment with one of the 3 fish processors working with Point Loma Sportfishing. If you do not have an advance reservation, there is a strong chance the processors will be unable to process your fish when you return back to the dock.
