We departed yesterday on our OC Tuna Club / 310 Rodworks annual 4 day charter. We arrived on scene right at sun down and scratched throughout the night. We saw plenty of fish but it was tough to get a bite. The fish weighed anywhere from 15 to 140 pounds. Once the sun came up it was a completely different story and we enjoyed excellent daytime bluefin tuna fishing. The fish weighed between 15 to 30 pounds and bit the fly line. Lighter line and small hooks were key. We will be trying for some larger ones this evening.
