Things are heating up locally this past week or two with a new showing of school grade Bft and Yft. We were able to make 100% of our catch during daytime hours with just a few extended plunker drifts. Light line and a small hook were the preferred method of take with a few anglers opting to use smaller size lures with some sucess. Also we had a few hours to spare to try fishing one of the local islands for really nothing to show for except a sheepshead and a really nice picture of our group. Our finisher to the trip was a couple nice shots at mid grade Bluefin tuna with a lot of bites and a few made it to the boat. Hope to see everyone and this good weather again next year.
