The reservoir has picked up very well for boat angler

Kens Sporting Goods Staff
The reservoir has picked up very well for boat anglers but the shore fishing has slowed a bit. They’re still catching a few fish from the shore but it’s much slower than last week. The trolling has beed decent with speedy shiners, Thomas Bouyants, small Rapalas and night crawlers but the best reports we’ve been getting have come from bait fishing from boats over in the Rainbow Point area as well as out in the middle of the reservoir between Rainbow Point and the Marina, mostly in around 15 to 20 feet of water. We’ve also had a couple reports from fly anglers who have had some success stillwater nymphing in deep water. The bait anglers off of Rainbow have been using pinched crawlers, garlic power bait, mice tails and inflated crawlers.
