Tackle Recommendations from the Boats for Bluefin trips.

For day time fishing, they are recommending

50lb flyline with a #1 mutu or a 1/0 mutu circle hook

30lb flyline with #2 Owner Mutu Hook. For the guys that want to fish a jig, try a 100 or 130 Colt Sniper or Zakana jigs. We would recommend fishing the jigs on a 50 to 60lb outfit.

For night time fishing, we are still recommending 80 to 100lb outfits and 300 to 400 grams jigs with 130 to 200lb leaders.

The Islander called in with 8 Bluefin Tuna on day 1 of their 2.5 Day charter.

The Tomahawk called in with 21 Bluefin Tuna (Half @ 80-100lbs) on their 2 Day trip for 28 anglers.

The Liberty called in with 36 Bluefin Tuna (10 @ 70-150lbs) on their 2 Day charter for 20 anglers.

The Fortune called in with 15 Bluefin Tuna on their 2 Day trip for 13 anglers.

The Pacific Dawn called in with 3 Bluefin Tuna (70-150lb) for 12 anglers on their 1.5 day trip.

The Dolphin AM caught 211 quality Rockfish for 29 Anglers. Great fishing with excellent weather.

The Condor returned this morning with 16 Bluefin Tuna, 1 Yellowfin Tuna, and 1 Yellowtail @ 20lbs for 16 anglers on their 2 day trip.

The Pacific Queen returned this morning with LIMITS (138) of Bluefin Tuna, 26 Yellowtail, and 10 Yellowfin Tuna for 23 anglers on their 3 day charter. 

The Pegasus called in with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna (70 - 170lbs) for 7 anglers on their 1.5 day trip.

The Dolphin AM trip had 186 rockfish for 52 anglers.

The Dolphin PM trip had 39 rockfish 6 sheephead, and 2 calico bass for 36 anglers.

The Pacific Dawn returned this morning with LIMITS (30) of Bluefin Tuna and 20 Yellowfin Tuna for 15 anglers on a 1.5 day trip. 

The Islander is returning this morning with LIMITS (54) of Bluefin Tuna and 25 Yellowfin Tuna for 27 anglers on a 1.5 day trip. 

The Tomahawk returned this morning with LIMITS (58) of Bluefin Tuna and 13 Yellowfin Tuna for 29 anglers on a 1.5 day trip. 

The Fortune returned this morning with LIMITS (72) of Bluefin Tuna and 6 Yellowfin Tuna for 18 anglers on a 2 day trip. 

The Pegasus returned this morning with LIMITS (38) of Bluefin Tuna and 4 Yellowfin Tuna for 19 anglers on a 1.5 day charter. 

The Liberty returned this morning with LIMITS (60) of Bluefin Tuna, 63 Yellowfin Tuna and 3 Dorado for 30 anglers on their 1.5 day charter.
