These prehistoric fish give humans a run for their money with how long they live. In Hells Canyon they can grow as little as a 10th of an inch a year in highly dense pools. Once the fish reach 40 inches their growth rate steadily increases. This means they can take up to 50 years to reach their spawning size. Experience these beautiful creatures by joining Hammer Down on a river excursion.
