Tackle Recommendations from the Boats for Bluefin trips.

For day time fishing, they are recommending

50lb flyline with a #1 mutu or a 1/0 mutu circle hook

30lb flyline with #2 Owner Mutu Hook. For the guys that want to fish a jig, try a 100 or 130 Colt Sniper or Zakana jigs. We would recommend fishing the jigs on a 50 to 60lb outfit.

For night time fishing, we are still recommending 80 to 100lb outfits and 300 to 400 grams jigs with 130 to 200lb leaders.

The Pegasus called in with 45 Bluefin 25 to 100lbs on their 2nd day of a 2.5 day trip with 19 anglers.

The Pacific Queen called in with 61 Bluefin Tuna for day 2 on their 3 day trip with 25 anglers. Still fishing. 

The Mustang returned this morning with LIMITS (22) of Bluefin Tuna with 11 anglers on their 1.5 day trip. 

The Islander returned this morning with LIMITS (78) of  Bluefin Tuna for their 13 anglers on their 3 day trip.

The Dolphin PM trip had 112 rockfish for 30 anglers.

The Dolphin AM caught 277 Rockfish for their 37 anglers

The Islander just called in thie LIMITS (52) of Bluefin Tuna for day 1 and 2 for their 3 day trip for their 13 anglers.

The Mustang 18 Bluefin Tuna (30-80 lbs) for their 11 passengers on their 1.5 day trip. 

The Fortune returned this morning with LIMITS (80) Bluefin Tuna (up to 150lbs) for 20 anglers on their 2.5 day trip
