Fishing varies throughout the lake, but is good overall. Anglers are catching several bullhead and channel catfish. The white bass bite is sporadic, but anglers report fair white bass catch rates by targeting tributary areas. June sucker are also making their way up the tributaries to spawn. Reminder: June sucker are a federally threatened species and all suckers must be immediately released. Common carp are spawning throughout the lake in the shallows. Bow fishing anglers are reporting success targeting Goshen Bay, Lincoln Beach, Provo Bay, Lower Hobble Creek WMA, Powell Slough North WMA, Vineyard Beach, North Lake Park and Inlet Park shoreline areas. Reminder: Utah Lake tributaries are closed to nighttime bow fishing (sunset to sunrise) from the first Saturday of May through 6 a.m. on the second Saturday of July.
