The Bluefin are starting to bite again and we have many trips with light loads and many of them are Definite Go.

Tackle Recommendations from the Boats for Bluefin trips.

For day time fishing, they are recommending a 30lb flyline with #2 Owner Mutu Hook. For the guys that want to fish a jig, try a 100 or 130 Colt Sniper or Zakana jigs. We would recommend fishing the jigs on a 50 to 60lb outfit.

For night time fishing, we are still recommending 80 to 100lb outfits and 300 to 400 grams jigs with 130 to 200lb leaders.

The Dolphin had 350 (lmts) of rockfish for 35 anglers on their AM trip.

The Islander finished their 2 day trip with 55 Bluefin Tuna for 29 passengers.

The Dolphin returned from its AM trip with LIMITS of Rockfish for their 25 Anglers

The Pacific Queen called in with 51 Bluefin Tuna (15 from 130-160lbs) and the rest (40-90lbs) for day 2 of their 3 day trip for 16 Anglers. 

The Islander just called in with 54 Bluefin Tuna from 25-140 lbs for day 1 of their 2 day trip for their 29 Anglers.
