We departed this morning on the Manaka 3 day with a nice load of bait and good weather in the forecast. Tim passed on a hunch about where the bluefin would show again to temper my drive to go searching elsewhere. With a solid plan to accommodate both we set out. By mid afternoon we were seeing good schools of larger bluefin and getting some chances at mostly 150# fish. The night was pretty much a bust, so we’re hoping for another good daytime showing.
