Beginning this run with a narrower objective we opted for selective fishing targeting the jumbo grade of bluefin local. Of course what looks great on paper often proves challenging. We had a few chances that did provide a sample. And that sample was compelling enough to hold us over 'til morning. Good weather and promising reports are certainly keeping us ready to move should this zone fall short. Time will tell. Photo today is a beaut from the archives.
