This will be our last report of the year for Pyramid Lake as we come to the tail end of the season out here. We will instead be focusing on local still water here forward.

The tactics at Pyramid Lake has changed over the last few weeks due to the warmer weather driving fish into deeper water. The fish are mostly post-spawn at this point and are back on the feed, meaning giving them larger offerings such as streamers imitating Tui-Chubs or fishing balanced leeches down deep with a slip indicator will be best. The easiest way to achieve this will be off of a float tube or boat looking for deeper areas of the lake such as Popcorn, Sandhole or northern beaches like Spider and Warrior.
